At Vion Retail Groenlo, Vion produces ready-made meat products for supermarket organisations. Every week, one million pre-packaged products find their way from Groenlo to supermarkets. The ready-to-cook meat products produced in Groenlo are both the so-called cut products, such as cutlets and medallions, and the Quick-Cook products (a.k.a. VeKa), such as paupiettes and minced meat schnitzels. VeKa products are quick to cook and can be prepared without additions, such as pepper and salt. In most cases, they are minced meat products.
